I am so glad that something like this topic came up on Illustration Friday. I love drawing things that are filled with emotion so this was a very enjoyable topic for me.
Angels and wings are always a favorite subject to draw :). No color this week because of Mr. Wertz telling us to keep it black and white..sorry photoshop- only some touch-ups and some added text. But I think I wouldnt like it that much if I had colored it so Im glad I kept it the way it was. Go me! |

Phew. Due to technical problems with downloading photoshop (yet again) and people deleting things (yet again)...it took a while for me to do this.
I always like relating things back to my favorite childhood story: Peter Pan. This week's topic "remote" means isolated, far away, or hidden away. So I automatically thought of Neverland.
So here you go :) |

Right when I first saw the word "float" I automatically thought "fairies". I really wanted to capture that "glow" that forms around them and the way they gracefully glide and "float" through the air. I purposely didn't draw her face because I wanted more attention on her wings and her flowing dress. |
