 I saw Blood and Chocolate last weekend and it was awesome. Hence, the "blood" inspiration. If you like Underworld, and think The Covenant sucked, go see Blood and Chocolate!!

I like your image. The colors you used on the face are great. I also really like her hair! It seems a little smudgy to me though. You may want to try adding more hard shadows. I would have also like to see the painterly style you used on the girl to be repeated in the background. good job though!
